How to Use Balloon Decorations

Make your own decorations saves money when you're preparing a festive party or another occasion. Balloons serve as useful materials since they have various colors, shapes and sizes. This makes it easy to make a unique decoration to add to your environment. Whether for a birthday party, a picnic or other occasion, make decorations with balloons step is pleasant to carry out.

1. Select a globe of the shape, size and color you want. For example, for an event as a celebration of Valentine's Day, you can use heart-shaped latex balloons or smiling balloons. Use your imagination and choose any type of balloon.

2. Blow up the transparent balloons until it is the size you want.

3. Cut 12 inches long silk ribbon for the foil animal balloons. Use a color that matches the theme you chose for this craft.

4. Tie the ribbon around the globe knot and secure it with a simple bow.

5. Pour the glitter of your choice on the paint tray. If you do not have one, use a cake pan or paper plate. Use about one cup of this material.

6. Hold the can of adhesive to five inches from the surface of the globe. Firmly press the nozzle to spray a thin layer of rubber on top of the globe.

7. Submerge the balloon loose glitter and creates a layer of this bright material. This gives the globe a touch of sparkle and extra color, making an addition to the party or other event decoration. Repeat these steps with other balloons.
