This filter is located between the motor and the bag or container and at the air vents, this filter serves to prevent any type of particle from reaching the motor that can stop it from working and also so that the air that is returned to the outside is totally clean, this filter is very important to avoid allergies, only the air passes through it. For proper operation of the vacuum cleaner, it is necessary that these filters are as clean as possible since it can cause the engine to overheat and stop working or even burn.

1.- Unplug thevacuum cleaner from the power supply to prevent it from turning on by mistake

2.- Access the filter by removing the dirt container or the doors where it is located

3.- Remove the HEPA filter, it may be accompanied by some type of pad or sponge

4.- Insert the HEPA filter in a container with water with enough capacity to submerge it

5.- Leave it in submerged in water with a little soap for 5 minutes to soften the adhering dirt

6.- Take out and clean the HEPA filter of the vacuum cleaner with your finger the remains that may have remained.

7.- Rinse the filter under the tap and let it dry at least 24 hours.

After a day drying, you can reassemble it in your Xiaomi mi robot vacuum cleaner and recover all the power it had.
